SSG Environmental course is a web-based, interactive environmental course developed by SSG together with industry experts.
SSG Environmental course provides modern training on external environment issues, enhancing skills among staff at the company. This may provide a tool for meeting requirements in the Environmental Code and internal management systems relating to skills and awareness concerning impact on the external environment.
Every course ends with a final test, and students received diplomas when they have completed their training. Results are valid for three years.

Some of the most important benefit of SSG Environmental course is that it is readily accessible and cost-effective, and can be implemented with only limited resources from the company. This training also makes it easier to reach staff teams that may otherwise be difficult and/or costly to involve, such as shift workers.
Valmet is one company that has implemented SSG Environmental course. 150 of the 700 staff at Valmet in Sundsvall have completed SSG Environmental course to date. The aim now is for all employees to complete the training.
