Goal

The purpose of the course is for you to gain knowledge and understand the connection between attitudes, and behaviours and how it correlates to consequences. It gives you an increased understanding of how your behaviour can affect work safety, in both a negative and positive way. You will get the tools to motivate yourself and others to act more safely. The course goal is also to understand how the organizational and social aspects are connected and affect the work environment, what support you are entitled to in your work and the importance of collaboration. Everything is the basis for creating a good safety culture in the workplace together.

Target group

SSG Safety Culture is developed to give employees and leaders a good idea of what safety culture is about and how everyone in the workplace can contribute. The goal is also to increase the understanding of how the organizational and social aspects are connected, how they affect the work environment and how you lay the foundation for the employees to create a good safety culture. The course is for all employees in an organization where work safety is important, for example in an industrial environment.

Implementation

The course is web-based, and short factual sections are combined with slide shows, examples, scenarios and pedagogical exercises to increase the student's commitment. After a completed course, the student will be able to download a diploma. Approved results are valid for three years.
