Billerud Frövi is situated about 30 km north of Örebro. Billerud Frövi produces new fibre-based liquid and packaging cardboard which is used for drinks, foods, confectionery, cosmetics, etc. The cardboard machine, which is one of the most advanced in the world, has a capacity of 500 000 tonnes per year. Around 640 people are employed here.

Biorefinery Domsjö Fabriker AB processes renewable raw timber to make products with a strong environmental profile.
Cellulose, bioethanol and lignin are its main products. The company has production facilities just outside central Örnsköldsvik and employs 400 staff in Sweden and 15 in the Baltic states. Its turnover stands at around SEK 1.6 billion. Domsjö Fabriker is part of Aditya Birla Group, a leading multinational operation based in India.
Domsjö Fabriker works with systematic, long-term work environment and fire safety management and makes stringent demands in terms of the work environment, external environment, safety and quality. Avos
Avos has three divisions, the Technology and Digital division (ETD), the Underground division (URE) and the Parts and Service division (PSD). The business units develop and manufacture rock drilling machines, control systems for drilling rigs, trucks and loaders, develop and manufacture mining equipment for underground mines and work with service and support for our customers.
Eyra
Surface Division (SRD) is located at Eyra. Here rigs and equipment for rock and exploration drilling are developed and manufactured for use above ground. There is also the Parts and Service division (PSD) that works with service and support for our customers.

At Holmen is our Distribution Center (SDC) which distributes and stocks spare parts. Parts of our Supply Chain also work here.

Working together to make Karlstad bright, warm and clean. Our business concept involves being a committed local supplier of energy and sanitation services to private customers and companies in the Karlstad region, while also being a secure, eco-friendly partner.
Karlstads Energi AB distributes and sells district heating to more than 5000 customers and electricity to around 40,000 customers. We produce our own heating and electricity. The electricity comes from our biofuel-powered CHP plant in Heden and the Vindpark Vänern Offshore Wind Farm. Most of our district heating production comes from the Heden plant. We sell around 500 million kWh of electricity and an equivalent amount of district heating every year.
Karlstads Energi handles municipal sanitation in Karlstad. We collect and process household and business waste in the municipality. Each year, we collect around 20,000 tonnes of waste in bags and containers from our 17,000 or so sanitation customers, along with more than 16,000 tonnes of bulky waste at our recycling centres.
We are a company owned by citizens. Producing and selling energy is part of our municipal assignment. Karlstads Energi AB is part of the Karlstads Stadshus AB Group, which is wholly owned by the municipality of Karlstad. We hold environmental accreditation to ISO 14001.

Norcarb Engineered Carbons AB has been operating out of the Malmö Oil Terminal since 1967 and manufactures carbon black. Carbon black is a term used to refer to carbon in an extremely fine form. There are a number of important applications for carbon black. These include improving the robustness and wear resistance of tyres and similar products, providing UV protection for various plastic parts such as water pipes and gas pipes, and providing shells for electronic equipment.
Heavy fractions of oil products are used as a raw material in the manufacturing process. These raw materials, which are referred to jointly as Carbon Black Feedstock and are also known as base oil, are brought in on ships and handled and stored at the plant. Around 60,000 tonnes is consumed in total, and about 35-40,000 tonnes of carbon black are produced from this amount.
The production process gives off a lot of thermal energy, so Norcarb is a supplier of district heating, electricity and steam in addition to its production of carbon black.
Safety is important to us here at Norcarb, and we are constantly working to improve in this regard. We have to operate in compliance with Group standards as well as Swedish laws and regulations so that we can work as efficiently and as safely as possible. The company also has management systems for quality, the environment, the work environment and safety.
Norcarb employs around 55 staff working with production, maintenance, logistics, the laboratory and administration. Production takes place 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which means that many people work shifts, particularly in production.

The Renova group is western Sweden’s leading green company working with waste and recycling. We have plants for processing, sorting and transferring waste and material for recycling.
The combined heat and power energy-from-waste plant in Sävenäs is one of the world’s most advanced energy recovery plants. Flammable waste from households and businesses is turned into heat and electricity here. This plant accounts for one-third of the district heating in the region and meets 5% of the electricity demand from the people of Gothenburg.
Our job is to work together with our owner municipalities to take long-term responsibility for waste and recycling. We must deliver commercial benefit to society and actively work to promote sustainable development in our owner region.

Pulp wood from the forest and chips from the sawmill are cooked to become kraft pulp and CTMP at Östrand pulp mill, situated close to SCAs extensive forests in northern Sweden.
There, the pulp is tailored to suit the production of different products. Our three product groups are called Celeste, Star and Cirrus.
SCA Östrand is certified according to Environmental Management Tool ISO 14001, Quality Management System ISO 9001 and Energy Management System 50001.
We also have FSC and PEFC chain of custody and can deliver FSC and PEFC certified pulp.

Smurfit Westrock Piteå is Europe's largest kraft liner mill and Piteå's largest private employer.
We annually produce over 700,000 tonnes of kraftliner, which is a paper used to manufacture high-quality corrugated cardboard. Kraftliner is mainly made from virgin fibre, i.e. wood raw material. Our kraftliner has good printability, good strength in moist environments and is chemically and biologically clean.
Smurfit Westrock Piteå is a large workplace with approximately 510 employees. With us you will find approximately 130 different professional categories, everything from services in production and maintenance to administration, lab and project management. Our production is running around the clock where our employees work in 6 shifts.
At SSAB, we put safety first. A safe and secure working environment is our highest priority, and occupational health and safety management should always be top class.
To prevent illness and accidents, SSAB works actively to eliminate risks. All employees, contractors and visitors must leave as healthy as when they arrived at SSAB.
As a contractor, you can actively contribute to this process by acquainting yourself with SSAB's safety regulations and instructions, which are included in the local requirement course.

Stora Enso Skoghall Mill is one of the world's largest manufacturers of foodstuff packaging. Here, liquid cartons are developed and produced for packaging juice and milk as well as cartons for packaging dry foodstuff.
Skoghall Mill is an integrated cartonboard mill consisting of two pulp mills, one for sulphate/chemical pulp and one for CTMP/mechanical pulp. The production takes place on two large cartonboard machines. KM7, which was started in 1977 and has been upgraded through the years. KM8 was put into operation in 1996 and is one of the world's largest cartonboard machines.
At our other facility in Forshaga, cartonboard is coated for various uses on two coating machines.
Safety is highly prioritated for both employees and contractors. Contractors working at our industrial site must have completed the SSG Entre basic course as well as our local Entre safety course.

Söderenergi produces district heating and electricity and is owned by the municipalities of Huddinge, Botkyrka and Södertälje. This district heating is sold by the SFAB distribution companies in Huddinge, Botkyrka and Salem, and by Telge Nät in Södertälje and Nykvarn.
We also maintain a production partnership with Stockholm Exergi and periodically supply parts of southern and central Stockholm with district heating. The electricity produced by Söderenergi is fed out into the national power grid and sold on Nordpool, the Nordic electricity exchange. In total, we produce enough heating for around 120,000 households as well as offices and industries, as well as enough electricity to meet the household needs of 100,000 homes. Besides electricity and heating, we also produce steam for pharmaceutical production at the AstraZeneca plant in Gärtuna and high-temperature hot water for the Scania paint shop in Södertälje.
Söderenergi’s large plants are Igelstaverket, which includes the Igelsta heating plant and Igelsta CHP plant in Södertälje, as well as the Fittjaverket plant in Botkyrka. We also have three auxiliary plants: Geneta central boiler plant, Huddinge central machine plant and Skogås central high-temperature hot water plant. We mostly use biofuels and recovered fuels for incineration, and all our plants hold work environment certification in accordance with ISO 45001 and environmental certification in accordance with ISO 14001.

Volvo Car Torslanda (VCT) is a complete car manufacturing factory, with a pressing plant, body plant, paint shop and final assembly. Around 300,000 Volvo Cars per year are built here.
East block

Operations on the PV site are responsible for supplying premium quality cars with outstanding design. Besides administrative offices, we also have laboratories, testing and trial facilities and rigs, various workshops for production and preparation and workshops for constructing test objects here.
Customer Service, RA, RB, SA, SAA:
Global Customer Service (GCS) is the Volvo Cars central warehouse, and its logistics centre for distribution of parts for Volvo Cars products via 55 warehouses all over the world, plus 3000 dealers.
Volvo Car Nederland B.V. Exchange Terminal Maastricht is responsible for the entire logistics regarding inbound and outbound, handling and storage of used Volvo parts from all over the world.
Volvo Car Body Components Olofström operates out of two locations, the Upper plant and the Lower (south) plant. We are responsible for the design and production of Volvo Cars bodywork components.
Volvo Car Group owns and runs the Hällered Proving Ground. Proving is an important part of Volvo’s development work. Service life, comfort, performance, reliability and safety are features that are tested at our plant, which operates 24 hours a day.
