SSG Entre Basic course - How it works
SSG Entre Basic course is a web-based safety course for contractors in the industry. Its purpose is to enhance occupational safety and reduce the number of workplace accidents. The course takes about two to three hours to complete, and all you need is a computer with Internet access.
Here is how it works
-
If the contracting company is not registered as a customer with SSG,
it has to be registered here first. When registering, please specify the person who is to act as the administrator for queries relating to SSG Entre at the company.
-
Once SSG has handled your application, the administrator will have access to the administration tool Learning Admin where he/she will be able to register employees and assign the courses they are in need of.
-
Everyone registered as a user receives an invitation from the administrator which they get to find/create their account through, and thereby get access to the SSG website where they complete the courses. Both SSG Entre Basic course and local courses end with a certification or final test.
-
The course is passed when the final test is done with an approved score. For a course participant to receive an Access card, a photo of that person has to be uploaded. The Access card is then printed and sent by post to the address selected by the administrator.
If you are unsure if the company is registered or if you want to know who your administrator is, contact SSG Support.
