By being one of the leading users of Workflow, a module of SSG On site, Freudenberg stands as a pioneer in modernizing permitting processes for Swedish facilities.
As part of the pilot test group and with an active role in the development of the feature, Freudenberg has demonstrated its commitment to continuously improving the working environment and maintenance in the Swedish industry. By adopting a digitalized approach to the permitting process, they have not only modernized their processes but also increased efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Lars Ljungström, HSE Manager at Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions, shares his thoughts on how Workflow in SSG On site has improved their business.
– For us, Workflow from SSG has worked excellently and we see several advantages in having the function integrated into SSG On site. Today we have issued over 400 work permits and we do it more securely while reducing our environmental impact by reducing the use of paper forms.

Stepping into the digitalization of the permit process was not a challenge for Freudenberg, and much thanks to their internal project team set up with the help of SSG for the implementation of Workflow. By investing time in understanding the tool and conducting workshops and onboarding processes, they have enabled a smooth transition to a digital way of working.
